Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or purchasing any service from WebHostingEurope GmbH ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Description of Service

We provide web hosting, domain registration, VPS, cloud and dedicated server infrastructure, along with related support services, all delivered from data centers located within the European Union.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use Policy

Our services may not be used to:

  • Host or distribute illegal content, malware or phishing pages.
  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) from our infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other systems or accounts.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Disrupt or overload shared infrastructure in a way that affects other customers.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of service, with notice where practical and immediately in cases of active harm to our network or other customers.

Payment & Billing

Fees are billed in advance for the billing cycle selected at signup. Renewal prices, where different from introductory pricing, are always disclosed at checkout before purchase. Failure to pay within 7 days of an invoice due date may result in service suspension.

Refunds & Cancellations

New hosting accounts include a 30-day money-back guarantee, excluding domain registration fees and licensed software. Cancel any time from your client area; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless you request immediate termination.

Service Level & Uptime

Our infrastructure targets 99.9% monthly uptime, as detailed in our Service Level Agreement. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance where possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by German law, WebHostingEurope GmbH's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim, except in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or harm to life, body or health.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in accordance with the notice periods set out in your specific plan. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy, with data retained for 14 days after termination for recovery purposes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munich, Germany, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
